How does one know where the truth is when it comes to memories?

Stretched through space and time, events of the past tend to get slightly blurry around the edges. Trying to grasp them, we often turn to our senses, to remember how we felt in that moment. That in itself could be much as true. 

"There was a moment captured in my childhood that had a strong sensory attachment to it. My grandfather and I would go to the tobacco farm in the Black Sea region of Türkiye picking tobacco leaves. To wash our hands afterwards, we would use rose water with lemon. Combined together one would imagine it to be a zesty and fresh fragrance. But in my memory, it settled as warm and sweet."

This memory of the Saardé co-founder Shenol Kizek turned into Qualia.
